Program Name

ezTV SMS Watchlist — a text message service operated by ezTV that lets you add shows and movies to your personal ezTV watchlist by sending a text message.

Program Description

The ezTV SMS Watchlist service allows registered ezTV users to text a show or movie name to our SMS number. The service searches our content database, asks you to confirm the match, and saves the title to your ezTV watchlist. Your watchlist is visible in your ezTV account dashboard and on your ezTV-connected TV. No app download is required to use the SMS service.

How You Opt In

You opt in to the ezTV SMS Watchlist service by:

• Adding your phone number in your ezTV account settings. When you enter your phone number in your ezTV account profile, you are consenting to send and receive SMS messages with ezTV for watchlist management.
• Texting our number first. By initiating a text message to the ezTV SMS number, you are providing your express consent to receive reply messages from ezTV related to your watchlist request.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your usage. Each text you send will receive one (1) reply message. You control the volume — we only respond when you text us. You will never receive more than one reply per message you send. We do not send recurring, scheduled, or promotional messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan. ezTV does not charge any fees for the SMS service itself, but standard carrier messaging rates apply.

What Messages You Will Receive

After you text a show or movie name to our number, you will receive:

• A confirmation prompt asking you to verify the title (e.g., "Did you mean Severance (TV Series)? Reply YES to add.")
• A success message after you confirm (e.g., "Added Severance to your watchlist!")
• An error or cancellation message if applicable

All messages are transactional responses to your requests. We do not send marketing messages, promotional content, advertising, or recurring automated messages via SMS.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can stop receiving messages at any time by texting STOP to our SMS number. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request, and no further messages will be sent. You may also remove your phone number from your ezTV account settings at any time to revoke consent.

Terms of Service

By using the ezTV SMS Watchlist service, you agree to the following terms:

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.
• You must have an active ezTV account with a phone number registered in your profile, or you must initiate contact by texting our number first.
• You are responsible for any messaging or data charges from your mobile carrier.
• The service is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of content search results, but we do not guarantee that every title will be found or matched correctly.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the SMS Watchlist service at any time with reasonable notice.
• You agree not to use this service for any unlawful purpose or to send abusive, threatening, or spam content.
• We may suspend access to the service if we detect misuse or abuse.

Privacy Policy

What Data We Collect

When you use the ezTV SMS Watchlist service, we collect:

• Your phone number — used to identify your ezTV account and deliver reply messages.
• Message content — the text you send (show/movie names, YES/NO confirmations) to process your watchlist requests.
• Watchlist entries — the titles you add to your watchlist, including title name, type (movie/TV), and the date added.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the ezTV SMS Watchlist service:

• Your phone number is used to look up your ezTV account and send reply messages.
• Your message content is used to search our content database and process your watchlist additions.
• Your watchlist data is displayed in your ezTV account dashboard and on your ezTV-connected TV devices.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information, phone number, or message content to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is not shared with any third party except our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), which processes messages on our behalf under strict data protection agreements. No opt-in data or consent information is shared with third parties.

Data Retention

Your watchlist data is retained in your ezTV account for as long as your account is active. Pending confirmations expire automatically after 15 minutes. You can delete individual watchlist entries at any time through your ezTV dashboard. If you delete your ezTV account, all associated watchlist data is permanently removed.

Data Security

Your phone number and watchlist data are stored securely in our cloud database with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Supported Carriers

The ezTV SMS Watchlist service is available on all major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
